Fall has arrived at Strawberry Ridge. The leaves have begun to change, fall red raspberries are plentiful and this year's crop of pumpkins and winter squash have been harvested. Our raspberries, which have been trellised allowing for easier picking, can be picked from 8 a.m. to dusk on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Picking will persist through the first hard frost of the fall. U-pick pumpkins are available on Saturdays and Sundays through October. Raspberries and pumpkins, as well as seven kinds of squash, gourds, jams and pies can also be purchased at our farm stand on Saturdays and at the Cambridge Valley Farmers Market (Sundays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) throughout the fall. For the most up to date information, visit our Facebook page at Strawberry Ridge or call 642-1385.
